Is TMS right for me?
You deserve to feel like yourself again.
TMS is often considered when depression hasn’t responded to medication the way you hoped. Check anything that sounds familiar. It only takes a few seconds, and nothing here is saved or sent.
This is not a diagnosis. Whether TMS is appropriate depends on your treatment history, symptoms and insurance, and our team can talk it through with you.
NeuroStar® TMS
FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment
What is NeuroStar® TMS?
A different kind of treatment, without another pill.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) uses a small, curved coil resting on your head to deliver focused magnetic pulses to areas of the brain that help regulate mood. These areas are often underactive in people with depression. Because nothing circulates through your body, TMS avoids systemic side effects like weight gain, nausea or sedation.
01
Settle in
You sit in a comfortable chair while the coil is gently positioned on your head.
02
Stay awake
You’ll hear a clicking sound and feel a light tapping as the pulses are delivered.
03
Get on with your day
Most people drive themselves home and return to their routine right away.
- FDA-cleared
- Not ECT
- No anesthesia
- No memory loss
- Drive yourself home
